December 9, 2014 BUREAU OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT FINANCE OPINION 1st Indorsement Respectfully referred to the City Treasurer, Marikina City, for comment and/or appropriate action the herein letter dated November 21, 2014 of Mr. JORGE DAVIDE, JR., Managing Director, STERIX Incorporated (STERIX), requesting opinion on the requisite of that jurisdiction requiring an accreditation permit before the Company can perform its obligations as part of the service contract with its clients located thereat. CAIHTE STERIX submitted that its principal office is located in Muntinlupa City where it is paying its business taxes based on its 100% gross sales. All sales invoices are recorded in the principal office and there are no other registered branches or warehouses in other local government units. In view of the above representations, this Bureau would like to be clarified on the basis of requiring STERIX to secure a separate business permit from that City considering the Company does not maintain any branch, sales office or warehouse thereat. EDCTIa Action taken on the matter within five (5) days from receipt hereof is requested so that proper solution of herein issue submitted for opinion can be made. Be guided accordingly. (SGD.)
