March 23, 2018 BSP MEMORANDUM NO. M-2018-011 TO : All Bureau of Internal Revenue Authorized Agent Banks SUBJECT : Authority to Open/Extend Banking Operations To assist the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in receiving tax payments covering the calendar year 2017, all BIR Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) are hereby authorized to: 1. Render banking services from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on two Saturdays ( i.e. , 07 and 14 April 2018); and 2. Extend their banking operations up to 5:00 PM for the period 01 to 16 April 2018. BIR-AABs are reminded to comply with the notification requirement, in particular, under the last paragraph of Subsection X156.1 of the Manual of Regulations for Banks. For compliance. HTcADC (SGD.)
