February 27, 2017 BSP MEMORANDUM NO. M-2017-008 TO : All Bureau of Internal Revenue Authorized Agent Banks SUBJECT : Authority to Open/Extend Banking Operations To assist the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in receiving tax payments covering the calendar year 2016, all BIR Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) are hereby authorized to: HDICSa 1. Render banking services from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on two Saturdays ( i.e. , 01 and 08 April 2017); and 2. Extend their banking operations up to 5:00 PM for the period 01 to 17 April 2017. BIR-AABs are reminded to comply with the provisions of the last paragraph of Subsection X156.1 of the Manual of Regulations for Banks on banking hours beyond the minimum and banking services during holidays.
