March 2, 2022 BSP CIRCULAR LETTER NO. CL-2022-018 TO : All BSP-Supervised Financial Institutions SUBJECT : Merger of Land Bank of the Philippines and United Coconut Planters Bank The Securities and Exchange Commission approved on 14 January 2022 the Articles and Plan of Merger, executed on 14 December 2021, by and between, Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP), the surviving corporation, and United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB), the absorbed corporation, whereby the entire assets and liabilities of UCPB will be transferred to and absorbed by LBP.
