January 8, 2021 BSP CIRCULAR LETTER NO. CL-2021-002 TO : All BSP-Supervised Financial Institutions SUBJECT : Consolidation of the Katipunan Bank, Inc. "A Rural Bank" and Rural Bank of Siocon (Zamboanga del Norte), Inc. into a New Rural Bank to be Known as Katipunan Banking Corporation "A Rural Bank" The Securities and Exchange Commission approved on 26 February 2020 the Plan of Consolidation and Articles of Consolidation of Katipunan Bank, Inc. "A Rural Bank" and Rural Bank of Siocon (Zamboanga del Norte), Inc. into a new rural bank to be known as Katipunan Banking Corporation "A Rural Bank." The corresponding Certificate of Authority to Operate as a rural bank was issued by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas on 22 December 2020.
