December 15, 2008 BSP CIRCULAR LETTER NO. CL-2008-080 TO : All Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions Under BSP Supervision SUBJECT : Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) Resolution No. 87 Dated 26 November 2008 Pursuant to Anti-Money Laundering Council Resolution No. 87 dated 26 November 2008 (copy attached), you are hereby informed that on 27 October 2008, the United Nations Security Council Al-Qaida and Taliban Sanctions Committee approved the addition of Fritz Martin Gelowicz, Daniel Martin Schneider and Adem Yilmaz to its Consolidated List of individuals and entities subject to the asset freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council Resolution 1822 (2008) adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations. CITcSH Under the same resolution all covered institutions are directed to submit to the Council reports of covered or suspicious transactions, if any, involving Fritz Martin Gelowicz, Daniel Martin Schneider and Adem Yilmaz. In accordance with Section 7 (1) of R.A. No. 9160, as amended, otherwise known as the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) of 2001, and Rule 13.7.2 of the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of said law, all covered institutions are directed to submit to the AMLC reports of covered or suspicious transactions, if any, involving the above-named individuals.
