March 6, 2006 BSP CIRCULAR LETTER TO : All Bank and Non-Bank Financial Institutions with Quasi-Banking Functions SUBJECT : Effective Date of Merger Between UCPB Savings Bank, Inc. (USB) and UCPB Rural Bank, Inc. (URB) The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved on 5 January 2006 the Plan of Merger and Articles of Merger executed on 7 June 2005, by and between USB (Surviving Corporation) and URB (Absorbed Corporation), whereby the entire assets and liabilities of URB will be transferred to an absorbed by USB.
