August 30, 2001 BSP CIRCULAR LETTER TO : All Banks and Non-Bank Financial Intermediaries The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved on August 8, 2001 the Articles and Plan of Merger and the Amended Articles and Plan of Merger by and between Consumer Savings Bank, Inc . (Absorbed Corporation) and Philippine Bank of Communications (Surviving Corporation) dated December 29, 2000 and June 15, 2001 respectively, whereby the entire assets and liabilities of Consumer Savings Bank, Inc . will be transferred to and absorbed by Philippine Bank of Communications .
