March 20, 1998 BSP CIRCULAR LETTER TO : All Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) SUBJECT : Bangko Sentral Registration Document (BSRD) and Bank Certification of Inward Remittance (CIR) of Foreign Exchange for Special Investor's Resident Visa (SIRV) Applicants For purposes of compliance with the requirement for inward remittance of foreign exchange for issuance of SIRV, AABs shall duly accomplish Item I (CIR) of the attached BSRD form in the issuance of subject CIR. The original of the form with Item I (CIR) duly accomplished and notarized shall be submitted by the applicant to the One-Stop Action Center Board of Investments (OSAC-BOI) at the BOI Building, Gil J. Puyat Avenue, Makati City, copy to be immediately furnished by the bank concerned to the Direct Equity Investment Division of the Foreign Exchange Department (FED), this Bank, either by Fax or personal delivery. The foreign investment funded by the foreign exchange under said bank CIR, if eligible under existing BSP rules, shall be registered by the BSP thru the Deputy Director, FED or higher-ranked BSP Officer who shall sign at the designated space at the bottom of said form, and the form as thus signed shall be considered as a duly issued BSRD for purposes of CB Circular No. 1389, as amended. Changes in the investment/conversion to another investment type and repatriation of capital/outward remittance of profits thereon shall be indicated at the back of the original of said form duly noted/certified by BSP/Bank Officer concerned, and reported to the BSP and OSAC-BOI in accordance with existing rules.
