September 20, 2013 BLGF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 092-13 TO : All BLGF Central and Regional Officials and Personnel, and Others Concerned SUBJECT : Nominations for the Fourth Batch of Middle Managers Class of the Public Management Development Program on October 2013 Offered by the Inter-Agency Steering Committee for the National Government's Career Executive Service Development Program-Public Management Development Program (PMDP) For the information and guidance of all concerned, attached is a copy of the letter dated September 10, 2013 of Mr. Antonio D. Kalaw, Jr., CESO I, President, DAP and National Executive Director, PMDP, inviting nominations for the Fourth Batch of the Middle Managers Class of the Public Management Development Program, which is set to open in October 2013. Del Castillo OIC-Executive Director Bureau of Local Government Finance Roxas Boulevard, Manila Dear OIC Del Castillo : We are pleased to inform you that we are now accepting nominations for the Fourth Batch of the Middle Managers Class of the Public Management Development Program, which is set to open in October 2013 . The Public Management Development Program is the national government's career executive service development program, which aims to produce a corps of professional and service-oriented public officials. As with our previous calls for nomination, we are encouraging you to recommend your agency's high performing, high potential personnel occupying SG-18 to SG-24 positions. If your agency is already implementing EO No. 80, we strongly suggest that you nominate those with exemplary performance ratings. Upon admission into the Program, participants will undergo about 16 weeks of intensive residential training in DAP Tagaytay spread over five months. After this period, they will return to their agencies to implement their Re-entry Projects, which DAP will monitor for three months. And after satisfying all academic requirements of the program, scholars will be conferred a Master's Degree in Development Management by DAP. Since the Bureau of Local Government Finance has a very important role in achieving the President's Social Contract to have prioritized your institution and allocated slots to deserving personnel especially those coming from the regions.
