Santiago of the Central Administration Office, PCDC Secretariat, Department of Finance, regarding the letter dated August 2012, of Ms. Paulina Gonzales-Pose, Director, HARVARD Kennedy School, John F. Kennedy School of Government, inviting to nominate a candidate to the above program. The emphasis of the program is on developing the necessary analytic, management and leadership skills. The structure of the program also allows participants to enhance their expertise in critical policy areas. Harvard Kennedy School is looking for individuals who have: a strong record of public service and leadership; significant professional experience (a minimum of seven years of full-time, relevant, professional experience is required, although the average Mason Fellow has 14 years of work experience. Competitive candidates typically have several years of experience at a senior decision-making level.); citizenship from a developing, newly industrialized or transitional economy country; and fluency in English (as demonstrated by TOEFL scores). Applications will be evaluated based on a variety of criteria including the quality of the candidate's professional experience, potential for influencing public decisions, and the quality of prior academic performance. The Harvard Kennedy School generally expects students to fund their studies through a combination of personal resources and government, corporate or grant support. The School provides a limited number of full and partial scholarships for which international students are eligible.
