March 6, 2013 BLGF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 036-13 TO : To All Regional Directors and All Provincial and City Treasurers, Including NCR City/Municipal Treasurers SUBJECT : Submission of Local Finance Data This refers to the BLGF Memorandum Circular No. 49-2012 dated July 11, 2012 directing all Regional Directors in ordering Provincial/City Treasurers within their respective jurisdictions to submit LGU fund deposits, pertinent information were stated therein. This Bureau is currently maintaining a data base of depository accounts of all Provinces and Cities of all Regions. However, it was noted that based on the records as of January 2013, only 72% of the provinces and 65% of the cities have submitted their Report of Fund Deposits (58 out of 81 provinces and 91 out of 140 cities including the Municipality of Pateros in the NCR, respectively). In this regard, it is reiterated the timely submission of the said reports especially those Provinces and Cities that has yet to submit in the interest of local finance policy development and in strengthening the monitoring mechanism and maintenance on local financial data/information.
