Carag Revenue Operations and Legal Affairs Group SUBJECT : Compliance with Department Order No. 12-2011 DATE : June 25, 2012 Please be reminded that pursuant to Department Order (DO) No. 12-2011, all heads of DOF Offices, Bureaus and Attached Agencies are strictly enjoined to forward the additional DOF copy of the Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALNs) of their respective personnel to the Office of the undersigned together with an alphabetical list of their employees on or before 30 July 2012. cIADaC All concerned officials and employees are likewise reminded that while the right to information and access to public documents and official records are afforded to the public, such is subject to limitations as provided under Section 7, Article III of the 1987 Constitution. Further, Section 8 (D) of Republic Act No. 6713 prohibits the use of SALNs for any purpose contrary to morals or public policy or for any commercial purpose. Hence, to avoid any unlawful use of the SALNs for the personal interest of unscrupulous individuals, requests for copies of SALNs and 201 files shall be granted only when made by authorized persons and for legitimate purposes. Please take note that requests for both SALNs and 201 files will be subject to the guidelines prescribed by the Civil Service Commission.
