April 21, 2014 BLGF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 018-14 TO : BLGF Central and Regional Directors of This Bureau and All Others Concerned SUBJECT : Letter Dated February 19, 2014 in Connection with Executive Order No. 55 (s. 2011) Prescribing the Implementation of a Treasury Single Account For the information and guidance of all concerned, attached is a letter of Ms. Rosalia V. De Leon, Treasurer of the Philippines, Kawanihan ng Ingatang-Yaman (Bureau of the Treasury) dated February 19, 2014 regarding the abovementioned subject. The Central and Regional Offices are hereby instructed to take note of the above-Memorandum and disseminate the contents thereof to all Bureau Staff and others concerned. Del Castillo : In connection with Executive Order No. 55 (s. 2011) prescribing the implementation of a Treasury Single Account for the collection of government receipts, including fees and charges, that are to be remitted to the National Treasury, we wish to inform you that float scheme of compensation for banking services of Authorized Government Depository Banks have been discontinued effective January 2, 2014. CaTSEA Related thereto, fees, if any, for banking services provided by Authorized Government Depository Banks, such as deposit pick-up, shall be subject to separate arrangement among the Bureau of the Treasury, the National Government Agencies concerned and the depository banks. Kindly advise all your National Collecting Officers on the current government policy in relation with the Treasury Single Account initiative.
