April 2, 2009 BLGF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 012-09 In view of a number of requests received for extension of service from local treasurers who have reached the compulsory retirement age of 65 years, and in addition to the requirements for such extension of service under Section 12, Rule XIII (Prohibitions) of the Revised Omnibus Rules on Appointments and other Personnel Actions, the following additional items are hereby required to be complied with and submitted before consideration of the request for extension of designation, to wit: 1. Submission of up to date Statement of Receipts and Expenditures Reports; and 2. Certification showing an increase in the LGU's collection efficiency for the last three (3) years, as duly validated by the BLGF Regional Office concerned. All Regional Directors and Provincial Treasurers are hereby directed to disseminate this Circular to all City and Municipal Treasurers within their respective jurisdiction. caSDCA (SGD.) MA.
