June 23, 2015 BLGF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 011-15 TO : BLGF Central and Regional Directors of this Bureau SUBJECT : Nomination to Public Management Development Program (PMDP) Middle Managers Class Batch 10 For the information and guidance of all concerned, attached is a copy of the letter from the Inter-Agency Steering Committee, National Government's Career Executive Service Development Program-Public Management Development Program (NGCESDP-PMDP), regarding the above subject matter. Del Castillo OIC, Executive Director Bureau of Local Government Finance 8th Floor EDPC Bldg., BSP Complex, Roxas Blvd., Manila Dear Executive Director Castillo : We are pleased to inform you that we are now accepting nominations for the Public Management Development Program (PMDP) Middle Managers Class Batch 10 , which will open on September 5, 2015 . As previously communicated, PMDP is an intensive, multi-modal executive training program that aims to produce a corps of public managers that embody competence, integrity and commitment. It is a leadership development initiative under the Philippine Development Plan 2011-2016, overseen by an Inter-agency Steering Committee composed of the National Economic and Development Authority, Civil Service Commission, Career Executive Service Board, Department of Budget and Management, and Department of Finance. EcTCAD Participants accepted into the program will be given full government scholarship and will be provided the distinct opportunity to interact and learn from seasoned and highly eminent faculty and resource persons while in residential training at DAP Tagaytay for about 16 weeks, spread over five months. After this period, they will return to their agencies to implement their Re-Entry Projects, which DAP will monitor for three months. Scholars who will satisfy all academic requirements will be conferred a Master's Degree in Development Management by DAP. At present, 296 scholars from about 19 National Line Agencies, 63 attached agencies, and 8 Government Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) have completed the Program. As with our previous calls for nomination, we are encouraging you to recommend your agency's high performing, high potential personnel occupying SG-18 to SG-24 positions. Since the Bureau of Local Government Finance has a very important role in achieving the President's Social Contract, we have prioritized your institution and allocated slots to deserving personnel. Deadline for nominations for Batch 10 is on June 30, 2015 .
