February 14, 2014 BLGF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 007-14 TO : BLGF Central and Regional Directors of this Bureau and All Others Concerned SUBJECT : Authorizing All Government Agencies and Instrumentalities Including Government-Owned or Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) and Encouraging Local Government Units (LGUs) to Extend Support and Participation to the Kabisig Philippine Government Expo and Trade Fair 2014 For the information and guidance of all concerned, attached is a copy of the letter dated February 3, 2014 of Mr. Marianito M. Dimaandal, Director IV, Office of the President and Memorandum Circular No. 62 regarding the abovementioned subject. The Central and Regional Offices are hereby instructed to take note of the above-Memorandum and disseminate the contents thereof to all Bureau Staff and others concerned. DIMAANDAL Director IV MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 62 AUTHORIZING ALL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND INSTRUMENTALITIES INCLUDING GOVERNMENT-OWNED OR -CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS (GOCCs) AND ENCOURAGING LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS (LGUs) TO EXTEND SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATION TO THE KABISIG PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT EXPO AND TRADE FAIR 2014 WHEREAS, the KABISIG People's Movement (KABISIG) Program was created by virtue of Proclamation No. 650 (s.1990) in order to facilitate, coordinate, and monitor the implementation of government programs and projects, as well as to provide linkages between and among the private sector groups and government agencies and instrumentalities; and WHEREAS, in pursuit of the above mandate, KABISIG is conducting the "KABISIG Philippine Government Expo and Trade Fair 2014" having the theme "Matuwid na Daan, Susi sa Tagumpay at Kaunlaran." The project aims to bring together in one venue all government agencies and instrumentalities, including Government-Owned or -Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) and Local Government Units (LGUs), to feature their profiles, service facilities, programs, projects, products, and accomplishments. It is also an opportunity that will allow the government to promote public awareness and participation in national government. NOW, THEREFORE, all heads of departments, agencies, and instrumentalities of the national government, including GOCCs are hereby directed to extend support and authorized to participate, and LGUs are hereby encouraged to extend support and participate, in the said expo and trade fair, subject in availability of funds and the usual government accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
