February 21, 2006 BLGF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 002-06 TO : All BLGF Officials, Regional Directors for Local Government Finance, District Treasurers and Assessors of Metropolitan Manila; Provincial, City and Municipal Treasurers and Assessors; and Others Concerned SUBJECT : Memorandum Order No. 192-A dated January 27, 2006 of the Office of the President Entitled "Amending Section 1 of Memorandum Order No. 192" For the information and guidance of all concerned, attached is a copy of Memorandum Order No. 192-A dated January 27, 2006 of the Office of the President, amending Section 1 of Memorandum Order No. 192. As stated, the period granting consent to Heads of Departments and other officials covered by Executive Order No. 464 (s. 2005) to appear in certain cases has already expired last December 31, 2005. Finding the need to extend the same to ensure unhampered attendance by covered officials to important meetings or sessions mentioned therein, Section 1 of Memorandum Order No. 192 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Sec. 1. Consent. Pursuant to Executive Order No. 464 (s. 2005), the consent of the President is hereby granted, unless otherwise specifically directed, for the period until June 30, 2006, to heads of departments of the Executive Branch of government and all other public officials covered under Executive Order No. 464 (s. 2005) for the following proceedings: IHEAcC a) Confirmation hearings before the Commission on Appointments pursuant to Section 16, Article VII of the Constitution; b) Budget hearings before Congress for the enactment of the general appropriations act." cCEAHT The District Treasurers and Assessors of Metropolitan Manila and all Regional Directors are hereby instructed to disseminate this Circular to all Provincial/City/Municipal Treasurers and Assessors within their respective jurisdictions. MONTESA Executive Director ATTACHMENT January 27, 2006 MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 192-A AMENDING SECTION 1 OF MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 192 WHEREAS, Memorandum Order No. 192 dated 7 October 2005 was issued which granted consent to Heads of Departments and other officials covered by Executive Order No. 464 (S. 2005) to appear in certain cases for the period until 31 December 2005; WHEREAS, the period stated in said Memorandum has already expired, and there is a need to extend the same to ensure unhampered attendance by covered officials to important meetings or sessions mentioned therein; Accordingly, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, do hereby order: SECTION 1. Section 1 of Memorandum Order No. 192 is hereby amended to read as follows: "Sec. 1. Consent . Pursuant to Executive Order No. 464 (s. 2005), the consent of the President is hereby granted, unless otherwise specifically directed, for the period until June 30, 2006, to heads of departments of the Executive Branch of government and all other public officials covered under Executive Order No. 464 (s. 2005) for the following proceedings: a.
