April 4, 1994 BIR RULING [UN-116-94] Sycip, Gorres, Velayo & Co. 6760 Ayala Avenue Makati, Metro Manila Attention: Mr . T . A . Tejada Gentlemen : In connection with the internal revenue tax case of your client, Manila Golf & Country Club, Inc., Harvard Road, Forbes Park, Makati, Metro Manila, involving the amounts of P1,082,812.90 and P945,708.99 representing deficiency income taxes inclusive of surcharge and interest thereon for the years 1989 and 1990 respectively, please be informed that after a careful study of the facts of this case and the law pertinent thereto, this Office is of the opinion as it hereby holds that your said client is not liable to the aforesaid deficiency income taxes. cdtech Accordingly, the said case of your client is now closed and terminated.
