March 8, 1995 BIR RULING [UN-097-A-95] Memorandum For: The Regional Director Revenue Region No. 4 Manila Attention: Chief, Collection Division Referred to you herewith is the entire docket bearing on the internal revenue tax case of the Philippine Bank of Communications, 214-216 Juan Luna St., Binondo, Manila, involving the amounts of P11,060,056.92, P425,616.18, P16,259,617.67 and P485,883.93 representing deficiency income tax and deficiency onshore tax for the years 1988 and 1989 respectively inviting attention to our letter on even date to the taxpayer, which is self-explanatory. If the taxpayer fails to pay the aforementioned tax liabilities within the period stated in our said letter, you are requested to enforce collection thereof thru the summary remedies prescribed by law.
