December 23, 1958 BIR RULING NO. 706-58 The Commissioner of Customs Manila S i r : In connection with the letter dated November 19, 1958 to that office of Father L. Paulsen, in behalf of the Rector of St. Paul's College, Tacloban City, requesting information on the 16 mm. movie projector imported by said institution from Germany, I have the honor to inform you that the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines has certified that said importation will be used exclusively in the audio-visual education course of the aforenamed college. aisadc In view thereof, it is requested that release of the abovementioned article be effected upon prepayment of the 7% compensating tax, if upon inspection thereof, it is found that the same is of the type used for audio-visual education.
