December 10, 1958 BIR RULING NO. 690-58 Dodge & Seymour (Manila), Inc. 485 Arzobispo, Walled City Manila Gentlemen: Reference is made to your letter dated June 24, 1958, which was referred to this Office by the City Treasurer, Manila, requesting in effect, for and in behalf of your principal, Wayne Pump Company, permission to eliminate the so-called visigauge from pumps being manufactured by said company and sold to oil companies in the Philippines. In answer thereto, I have the honor to inform you that, it having been found upon investigation conducted by this Office that the visigauge has nothing to do with the measuring of the quantity of the gasoline or oil being pumped out of the pump, the latter passing first thru the meter which measures and registers the quantity thereof before it passes the visigauge, your said request is hereby granted. aisadc Very truly yours, (SGD.) MELECIO R. DOMINGO Acting Commissioner of Internal Revenue
