Box 95 Cebu City S i r : This is with reference to your letter dated October 22, 1959, informing this Office of the fraudulent tax evasion of the cine operators in that City. In reply thereto, I have the honor to attach hereto, a copy of General Circular No. V-302 dated August 5, 1959, which is self-explanatory. For purposes of the law your letter under reply is inadequate and will not qualify you for the reward provided therein. Unless you submit an information meeting the requirements prescribed by Republic Act No. 2338 within thirty (30) days from receipt of this letter, this Office will disregard your letter of October 22, 1959 and will be constrained to undertake an independent investigation of the case without entitling you to the reward in case any revenue is realized as a result thereof.
