September 26, 1958 BIR RULING NO. 547-58 Mr. Eliseo V. Zerrudo 1158 Pax St., Quiapo Manila S i r : In answer to your letter of the 14th instant, I have the honor to inform you that, notwithstanding the fact that you were previously authorized by your brother, Mr. Jose V. Zerrudo, to pay for him his income tax, a written authority to file for him the statement required by Republic Act No. 2070 (B.I.R. Form No. 1.80) should be attached to said statement. The authority need not be in the form of power of attorney. In this connection, it may be stated that the last day for filing the aforesaid statement has been extended to October 21, 1958.
