Decena Attorney at Law 857 Zacateros St., Manila S i r : In reply to your query dated December 28, 1960, I have the honor to inform you that the "Application Permit to Continue to Engage in The Rice and/or Corn Industry pursuant to Republic Act No. 3018" which is filed at the instance and for the benefit of a private individual or entity is subject to the 30-centavo documentary stamp tax prescribed in section 225 of the National Internal Revenue Code.
