September 17, 1958 BIR RULING NO. 512-58 Messrs. Ross, Selph, & Carrascoso Manila Gentlemen : In reply to your letter of even date, I have the honor to inform you that a foreign steamship company whose vessels touch Philippine ports but without having an office or place of business in the Philippines is not required to file the sworn statement required by Republic Act No. 2070.
