October 2, 1959 BIR RULING NO. 468-59 Chua Luan & Co., Inc. 510-512 Sto. Cristo Street M a n i l a Gentlemen : In reply to your letter of even date, I have the honor to inform you that celluloid handles and celluloid Ferrules (Tips) imported for use by the importer in the manufacture of umbrellas are taxable at the rate of 7% based on the landed cost thereof plus the mark-up of 25%. cdtech Very truly yours, (SGD.)
