October 6, 1960 BIR RULING NO. 447-60 Mr. Manuel Savodio 660 H. Ventura Sampaloc, Manila S i r : In answer to your letter of March 24, 1960, please be informed as follows: lexlib Revenue Regulations No. V-45 only require that books of accounts should be registered before using them. Hence, the books of accounts you registered and use in 1959 can be used by you this year and succeeding years without registering them again. It is requested, however, that the portion pertaining to a particular year be properly labeled or marked. Your "relative" cannot be compelled to produce books of accounts for 1955 which she failed to keep and for which failure she has paid a compromise penalty of P50.00. cd Very truly yours, MELECIO R.
