August 21, 1958 BIR RULING NO. 444-58 Benguet Consolidated, Inc. Baguio City Gentlemen : In reply to your letter dated February 10, 1958 requesting that you be exempted from filing the bond required under Section 11 of Revenue Regulations No. V-57, I have the honor to inform you that your request cannot be granted. The fact that Antamok Cine, Balatoc Cine and Bobok Cine are operated by you only for the amusement of your employees and that all your taxes are paid promptly are not sufficient grounds to exempt you from filing the required bond which is conditioned not only the prompt payment of all taxes due from you but also upon faithful compliance with the laws and regulations relating to your business. cdta Very truly yours, (SGD.)
