September 3, 1960 BIR RULING NO. 423-60 Messrs. Dionisio C. Capunitan/ Godofredo P. Henson c/o The Nation's Trade Journal 441 Sales St., Manila Gentlemen : In reply to your letter dated August 29, 1960 wherein you request exemption from payment of fixed and percentage taxes as publisher of the magazine "The Nation's Trade Journal", I have the honor to inform you that, if your publication appears at regular intervals, with fixed prices for subscription and sale and which is not devoted principally in the publication of advertisements, you are exempt from payment of the aforesaid taxes provided for in sections 182 and 191 of the Tax Code. aisadc Very truly yours, MELECIO R.
