December 17, 1987 BIR RULING NO. 404-87 163 (3) 079-86 404-87 Gentlemen : In reply to your letter dated April 6, 1987, please be informed that ground soya beans are considered agricultural products in their original state; hence, your sales thereof are subject to zero percent (0%) sales tax pursuant to Section 163(3)of the Tax Code, as amended by Executive Order No. 38, which took effect August 1, 1986.
