July 21, 1958 BIR RULING NO. 385-58 2nd Indorsement Respectfully returned to the Honorable, the Secretary of Finance, Manila. The request of the Chairman, General Services Committee, 10th World Jamboree, for exemption from the payment of the specific tax on POL products, such as gasoline, oil and petroleum, to be used in motor vehicles which the government and commercial firms will supply for use exclusively in connection with the 10th World Jamboree to be held on July 17-26, 1957 at the Makiling National Park, Los Baos, Laguna under the auspices of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, cannot be granted for lack of legal basis.
