August 14, 1959 BIR RULING NO. 373-59 The Commissioner of Immigration M a n i l a S i r : In reply to your letter dated August 14, 1959, I have the honor to inform you that, considering the fact that Miss Katherine Cheuk, a stewardess of the Cathay Pacific Airways, is being repatriated to Hongkong after her confinement in prison, it is not necessary for her to secure a tax-clearance certificate.
