August 17, 1960 BIR RULING NO. 371-60 Marsman & Co., Inc. P.O. Box 297 M a n i l a Gentlemen : In reply to your letter dated August 13, 1960, I have the honor to inform you the present design of the documentary stamp imprinted by Pitney Bowes meters should also be used in your new Series 800 meter machine. Please be further informed that this Office does not authorize the imprinting of the documentary stamp on a tape which in turn is affixed to the document. In all cases, where the use of a documentary stamp meter has been authorized by this Office the documentary stamp should be imprinted on the taxable document itself. lexlib Very truly yours, (SGD.)
