July 14, 1959 BIR RULING NO. 335-59 The Manager Sam Kong Candle Factory Tan Coo & Co. 817 Jaboneros, Manila S i r : In reply to your letter dated July 10, 1959, I have the honor to inform you that the petrolatum to be imported by you for use in your manufacture of glass candles shall be subject to 7% advance sales tax, the same to be based on the landed cost thereof plus 25% mark-up.
