June 29, 1959 BIR RULING NO. 325-59 The General Manager Asia Development Corporation 1991 M. H. del Pilar M a n i l a S i r : With reference to your letter dated March 12, 1959. I have the honor to inform you that your retirement gratuity for twenty-one years of government service under Republic Act 660 is exempt from income tax pursuant to Section 28(b) thereof.
