Cruz M a n i l a S i r : In reply to your letter dated July 20, 1960, I have the honor to inform you that your shipment of 142 rolls of newsprint which arrived on board the S.S. Eurytan under B/L No. 8 valued at $5,301.52 and which you will use exclusively in your printing and publishing business is subject to the compensating tax, the same to be based on the landed cost thereof without mark-up. cdta Very truly yours, (SGD.)
