Certified Public Accountants 490 San Luis, Manila Gentlemen : In reply to your letter dated July 28, 1960, I have the honor to inform you that the sale of decorticated ramie by the producer of the ramie plant is exempt from the sales tax, pursuant to sub-paragraph (b) of the first paragraph of section 188 of the Tax Code.
