June 16, 1958 BIR RULING NO. 316-58 The Collector of Customs Manila S i r : In answer to your letter of even date, I have the honor to inform you that imported impregnated fabrics, sample of which has been submitted to this Office, are subject to the sales tax of 7%, based on the total landed costs thereof plus 25% mark-up, pursuant to Section 183(b), in relation to Section 186 of the Tax Code, as amended. cdtech Very truly yours, (SGD.)
