July 14, 1960 BIR RULING NO. 310-60 The Commissioner of Customs M a n i l a Attention : Mr . Jose T . Viduya Chief , Legal Officer Law Division S i r : In reply to your letter dated March 25, 1960, I have the honor to inform you that as per our records the Agricultural Fire Insurance and Surety Co., Inc. has been authorized to use the documentary stamp meter. However, in using the said machine they are required to print the amount of the stamps on the taxable document itself. Inasmuch as the amount of P3.18 and P.60 were not printed on the document itself, the same are not valid.
