September 1, 1987 BIR RULING NO. 258-87 30-h 194-86 258-87 Gentlemen : In reply to your letter dated August 23, 1987, please be informed that the proceeds to be derived by your church, Iglesia Evangelica Unida De Cristo (Baclaran Congregation), in connection with the fund-raising concert which it will sponsor on November 13, 1987 at the Rizal Theatre, for the needs of your church such as the acquisition of sound system, mimeographing machine and choir gowns are not subject to income and business taxes.
