May 12, 1959 BIR RULING NO. 243-59 Fil-Hispano Ceramics, Inc. Km 14, Malinta Polo, Bulacan Gentlemen : With reference to your letter dated May 12, 1959, I have the honor to inform you that, considering the fact that your industry was beset by a strike from April 1 to May 9, 1959 which prevented you from remitting the tax withheld from the wages of your employees for the month of March on time, you may now effect payment of the tax withheld without liability to the corresponding penalty otherwise accruing for failure to make payment on time. aisadc Very truly yours, (SGD.)
