Liberato S . de Jesus General Manager Gentlemen : In reply to your letter dated October 7, 1981, I have the honor to inform you that your importation of 2-Mercapto-Ethanoic Acid-Ammonium Salt which is used principally as a rust remover is subject to 10% advance sales tax based on the landed cost plus 25% mark-up pursuant to Section 193(b) in relation to Section 199, both of the Tax Code, as amended. cdtech Very truly yours, RUBEN B.
