April 21, 1959 BIR RULING NO. 209-59 William Lines, Inc. 480-482 San Fernando St. Binondo, Manila Attention : Mr . Espiritu P . Tan Branch Manager Gentlemen : With reference to your letter dated April 17, 1959, I have the honor to inform you that back pay certificates assigned or indorsed to the William Lines, Inc. cannot be applied by the said company in the payment of its income tax, in accordance with the directive given by the Honorable, the Secretary of Finance on March 13, 1959.
