April 11, 1960 BIR RULING NO. 204-60 The Provincial Treasurer Balanga, Bataan S i r : This is in connection with your 2nd Indorsement dated March 31, 1960 requesting the opinion of this Office on the question of whether information regarding the production of the New Pantingan Sawmill which is supplied with logs by the concession of Mr. Antonio Enriquez located at Limay, Bataan, can be furnished the Provincial Commander of said province without violating the prohibition under section 347 of the National Internal Revenue Code. Inasmuch as the information sought by the Provincial Commander pertains to the operation of the business of the taxpayer knowledge of which was acquired by the officials of this Office in the performance of their duties, the said information cannot be revealed without violating the provisions of section 347 of the Tax Code.
