May 26, 1961 BIR RULING NO. 203-61 The Allied Thread Co., Inc. P. O. Box 1917 Gentlemen : In answer to your inquiry regarding the use of loose leaf journal, please be informed that Section 4 of the Bookkeeping Regulations which allows the use of loose leaf journal and ledger upon the written authority of the Commissioner of Internal Revenue is still in full force and effect. Accordingly, the permits issued to taxpayers by this Office for the use of loose leaf journal and ledger are, unless revoked, still valid. Very truly yours, (SGD.) MISAEL P.
