Escolastica Pasay City S i r : Reference is made to your letter dated March 5, 1960 stating that by Court Order dated February 7, 1959, the administration of the Estate of the late Enrique J. C. Montilla was closed. You now request a ruling from this Office as to whether the abovementioned Estate is still required to file an income tax return for the calendar year 1959. In reply thereto, I have the honor to inform you that a partial return covering the period from January 1 to February 7, 1959, should be filed by the administrator for the Estate of the decedent on or before April 18, 1960. cdtech Very truly yours, (SGD.)
