August 28, 1989 BIR RULING NO. 189-89 29 (h) & 123 522-88 189-89 Gentlemen : This refers to your undated letter which was received by this Office on August 18, 1989 stating that you will be holding a movie premiere of the movie "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" on September 2, 1989 at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the Manila Film Center; and that the said movie premiere will be for the benefit of Pasong Makipot, Barrio Putatan, Muntinlupa. cdta Based on the foregoing, you now request a tax exemption. In reply, please be informed that the proceeds to be derived by you in connection with the holding of a movie premiere of the movie "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" on September 2, 1989 at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the Manila Film Center which shall be applied for the benefit of Pasong Makipot, Barrio Putatan, Muntinlupa, are not subject to income tax.
