April 7, 1959 BIR RULING NO. 185-59 Mr. Emiliano J. Reyes, Jr. 409 D. Reyes Street Pasay City S i r : In reply to your letter dated April 3, 1959, I have the honor to inform you that where a person undertakes to sell electric current which he bought at the wholesale rate to others at the retail rate, he shall be constituted as a person selling light or power within the purview of section 191, paragraph 1 of the National Internal Revenue Code. cdtech Very truly yours, (SGD.)
