August 23, 1985 BIR RULING NO. 137-85 24-a 303-82 137-85 Gentlemen : In reply to your letter dated June 3, 1985, please be informed that the proceeds to be derived by you from the fashion show to be held at the Philippine Plaza, Roxas Blvd., Manila, on July 26, 1985, to raise funds to be used exclusively for the benefit of the Taytay Puericulture and Family Planning Center and its various projects of feeding programs for children, free lectures to mothers and giving free medical services, including medicines to indigent residents of Taytay, Rizal, are not subject to income and business taxes. cdti Very truly yours, (SGD.)
